Miss Charlton

My name is Miss Charlton and I am the Early Years Lead at Ark Priory. I am a qualified Early Years Teacher with a Masters degree in Early Years Education. I joined Ark Priory in 2017 as the Nursery Teacher and then moved to become the Reception class teacher and EYFS Lead. Prior to joining Ark Priory I worked as a Reception Class teacher and in a range of Nursery settings in the North East of England.

I believe that every child deserves the best start in life. Inspirational learning in Early Years is provided through a safe, stimulating and enabling environment that enables children to develop character and independence through play and by engaging in high quality interactions with the adults in Nursery.

Mrs Kelly

My name is Mrs. Kelly I am the Nursery Class Teacher and Outdoor Learning Lead and have been working at Ark Priory since 2019. I have been a qualified teacher for 14 years working across all key stages, but found my true passion was in Early Years education when I qualified and worked as an antenatal and postnatal teacher for 8 years prior to my appointment at the school.

My area of interest is in children's brain development and formation from the ages of 0-5 and how crucial their wellbeing and early experiences are in paving the way for later life.  My priority is building a bond with each child and finding out what their interests are so I can provide the most stimulating and exciting environment as possible.

Miss Bobotova

My name is Ms Bobotova and I have joined Ark Priory in September as a Teaching Assistant in the Nursery class.

Prior to joining Ark Priory, I worked as a Teaching Assistant in Year 1, in a local primary school and I also have experience with Special Educational Needs children.

I am currently studying Childhood and Youth Studies with Child’s Psychology at a University.

My passion for play is what had drawn me to early years. I enjoy seeing children practise their key social, cognitive, physical and emotional skills.

I would love to see our Nursery children grow and develop their skills throughout. To have big ambitions, high expectations of themselves and thirst for new experiences and I am excited to support them in doing so.

Miss Vinec

My name is Ms Vinec and I joined Ark Priory in September 2021.

I have worked throughout all year groups in the past 8 years as a Teaching Assistant, and I also have experience working with Special Educational Needs children.

I love working with Early Years children because I am passionate about children's development, and it is most apparent in Early Years.

I believe all children are entitled to equal opportunities to experience learning through play. I am excited to support children in aspects of their learning.
