We recognise that every child is unique. There are many different stages of development within each of the seven areas of learning and development. All staff within our Nursery are able to identify learning opportunities to meet the needs of each child as an individual. Activities are planned and supported to nurture and ensure every child will progress during their time in our Nursery. As well as planned activities we value each child's interests and ideas and we encourage child-led learning, developing their ideas into our curriculum and ensuring every moment is a learning moment. We aim for your child to leave our Nursery working within their expected developmental milestones dependent on their date of birth.

Assessment takes place through observation. Your child will have an individual learning journal through the programme EExAT which you are able to view and upload to throughout their time with us. The Document ‘What to Expect When’ will support you as parents to find out more about how your child is learning and developing during their first five years.
