Year 2 were part of something amazing on Tuesday 15th December. The year group travelled across London to the Science Museum to be one of the schools involved in celebrating Tim Peake's mission to the ISS spacestation. The classess watched the launch on the bigscreen, listened to the the BBC coverage first hand as part of the audience and then explored the science museum even bumping into Helen Sharman on the way round!

Everyone who went, children, parents and staff learnt something new and had an absolutely great time as well.

The children had been using the academy Twitter account to speak to Tim Peake and are now waiting for him to tell them all about life on the ISS - if you wish to keep up to date with the twitter feed we are @ArkPriory and would welcome all your support.
