Year 2 Butterfly Day

The culimination of the year 2 topic on wildlife and lifecycles was the chance to release the butterflies into the wild. The chilldren had observed, sketched and charted the life cycles of these insects over the last few weeks and said a slightly emotional, but joyful, farewell in the sunshine.
