Miss Grasso and Ms Steele welcomed the Secretary of State for Education to Ark Priory on Thursday 27^th August 2020 to show him the preparations that had been undertaken in readiness for the school’s reopening.

 

Secretary for State for Education Gavin Williamson said:

 

“Ark is one of our most innovative and successful multi-academy trusts and it is fantastic to see the Ark ethos in action. The enthusiasm for bringing children back into school and getting them learning again was palpable.

 

“Getting all pupils back in the classroom at the start of this term is a national priority and it was reassuring to see how well prepared Ark Priory is. Teachers, school leaders and staff have worked incredibly hard throughout the pandemic and my visit to Ark Priory illustrated further everything that is being done to make sure children are not disadvantaged.”
