Mental Health Week @ Ark Priory

Children's Mental Health week has been a great success this week. It has been filled with exciting opportunities and activities to promote the health of our mind and body through Place2be charity. We have learnt three key points to stay healthy inside and out. Balanced diet, Be active and Rest. Please follow the link to learn more about mindfulness: https://www.kidsmatter.edu.au/families/enewsletter/mindfulness-children-and-parents It is also important to maintain a balanced diet and stay active. Please follow the link below for further information and fun ideas: https://www.nhs.uk/10-minute-shake-up/shake-ups Throughout this week we have explored peer massage, created posters to raise awareness of how to look after our mental health, practiced meditation and learnt a range of mindfulness techniques.  We also held a tea party afternoon on Time To Talk Day for staff to raise awareness of Mental health through Time to Change. https://www.time-to-change.org.uk/time-talk-day Next week we will be holding a variety of charity events linked to our current PSHE topic.
